Sony Pictures International Productions has announced an untitled film starring Varun Tej, an action drama that celebrates India's might, inspired by true events and becoming the Indian Air Force's biggest action film. And now they have announced the hiring of Samrat Prithviraj actress Manushi Chhillar through an announcement video.
Manushi Chhillar (Miss Universe 2017) will be seen in the role of a radar officer. Talking about the role which requires intense preparation, Manushi says, “I am delighted to be a part of this incredible action packed spectacle in collaboration with Sony Pictures International Productions and Renaissance Pictures. I am grateful to my director Shakti Pratap Singh Hada for trusting me and excited to learn about the life and journey of Indian Air Force officers. It's an exciting start to sharing screen space with Varun Tej.”
Inspired by true events, the untitled film is a patriotic entertainer that will show the spirit of heroes on the front lines and the challenges they face as they fight one of the biggest and most ferocious air strikes India has ever seen.
The untitled film is produced by Sony Pictures International Productions and Sandeep Mudda of Renaissance Pictures and co-produced by Nandakumar Abbineni and God Bless Entertainment. Seasoned ad filmmaker, cinematographer and VFX aficionado, Shakti Pratap Singh Hada will be celebrating his directorial debut with this film. Written by Shakti Pratap Singh Hada, Aamir Khan and Siddharth Raj Kumar, the film goes on floors today and will be shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi.
